What makes the Kyote dog swag different from regular dog beds?

Most dog beds are built for the lounge room, not the bush. The Kyote Dog Swag is made from heavy-duty canvas with a waterproof PU underside, so it holds up to dirt, dust, and rough tracks instead of falling apart after one camping trip. It rolls up with compression straps and a carry handle, so it packs down small enough to throw in the ute or the back of the car, then unrolls in seconds wherever you make camp.

Is the canvas waterproof and tough enough for camping and 4WD trips?

Yes. The Dog Swag is built from heavy-duty canvas with a waterproof, adventure-proof PU underside, so it's designed to handle damp ground, dusty tracks, and everything in between. It's made to be used the same way you'd use your own camping gear - hard, and often.

What is the inside padding made of?

Inside you'll find a soft foam base topped with a removable fleece layer, giving your dog a supportive, comfortable spot to crash after a big day, whether that's at camp, in the car, or back home.

Is the swag suitable for hot and cold weather?

The fleece layer adds warmth on cool nights, while the canvas shell is breathable enough for warmer conditions. For very hot days, we'd still recommend setting your dog up somewhere shaded, just like you would with any bed.

What sizes are available and how do I choose the right one?

The Dog Swag comes in Small, Medium, and Large. As a general guide, choose based on your dog's length nose-to-tail plus a little extra room to stretch out - if your dog is between sizes, we'd suggest sizing up so they've got plenty of room to get comfortable.

How do I clean the canvas after dusty or muddy trips?

Shake off any loose dirt, then wipe the canvas down with a damp cloth or hose it off and let it air dry fully before rolling it back up. Avoid harsh detergents on the canvas - they can break down the waterproofing over time.

Can I wash the removable blanket in a machine?

Yes, the fleece layer unzips from the base so you can machine wash it separately on a cold, gentle cycle. Skip the fabric softener and let it air dry where possible to keep the fleece in good shape.

Does the swag need re-proofing after a while?

With heavy use, canvas can lose some of its water resistance over time. If you notice the canvas soaking through rather than beading water, a canvas waterproofing spray (available from most camping or hardware stores) will bring it back to life.

How should I store the swag when it is not in use?

Make sure the canvas is completely dry before rolling it up and storing it, ideally somewhere cool and dry. Storing it damp can lead to mildew, so give it a chance to air out after every trip before it goes back in the bag.

Will the canvas soften or change over time?

Like most heavy-duty canvas gear, you might notice it soften slightly and develop a bit of character with regular use - that's normal and won't affect how tough or waterproof it is.

How long does shipping take within Australia?

We get orders out as quickly as we can from our end, and delivery times will vary a bit depending on where you're located. If you need your swag by a specific date, flick us a message on the Contact Us page and we'll do what we can to help.

Do you ship internationally?

Right now we only ship within Australia. We're focused on looking after our local pack first, but keep an eye out as we grow.

What is your return or exchange policy?

We offer returns and exchanges within 30 days of delivery, provided the swag is unused and in its original condition. If it arrives faulty or damaged, get in touch and we'll sort a replacement or refund. Every swag is also backed by a 12-month warranty against manufacturing faults.

Can I track my order online?

Yes, once your order ships you'll receive an email with tracking details so you can follow it the whole way to your door.

How do I update my shipping address after placing an order?

Send us a message through the Contact Us page as soon as possible after ordering. If your order hasn't been dispatched yet, we'll update the address for you; once it's shipped, we're unable to make changes.
